'Legionnaire Flap Swim Hat'

For first splashes and little ones still spending time in the pram, the Bedhead Swim Legionnaire keeps water-day sun protection soft and comfortable. This UPF50+ swim hat is made from quick-drying, chlorine-friendly 85% polyester and 15% elastane swim fabric, with a soft back flap for extra coverage around the ears and neck and a foam anti-flop brim that stays clear of little eyes.

That extra coverage is particularly helpful for young babies, when hats, clothing and shade are important parts of sun protection. Both the fabric and finished hat design are tested for UPF protection, while the flat back flap sits comfortably behind the neck and the adjustable chin strap helps it stay put through first splashes, swimming lessons and family days by the water.

BEST SUITED TO: Babies, crawlers, toddlers and younger kids enjoying first splashes, swimming lessons, pools and beach days.

Size guide:

One fact you can be sure of - no two heads are the same! ALWAYS measure your child's head before purchasing to ensure getting the accurate size.

Step 1: Distract the child with a toy or food (so they don't try and help you!).

Step 2: Use a measuring tape to take measurement. Otherwise use a ribbon to take the size then use a ruler to find the measurement.

Step 3: Purchase the size closest to your childs measurement. Our hats are very stretchy and will grow up to 4cm.

FOR EXAMPLE: The child measures 41cms, you will need the 42cm size that will stretch another 4cms up to 46cms - giving plenty of future wear. Purchasing the next size up would be too large and block the childs vision.
